The Greater Dallas Fort Worth Area has around 5 million people and is home of the Dallas Cowboys, Dallas Mavericks, Texas Rangers, and Dallas Stars.  The area includes Dallas County, Tarrant County, Wise County, Denton County, and Collin County, as well as the cities of Arlington, Addison, Carrolton, Denton, Garland, Plano and Tyler.  The Dallas Fort Worth area serves as  the corporate headquarters to several Fortune 500 companies.  Dallas Fort Worth International Airport - DFW is home to American Airlines and is the world's third busiest airport, offering nearly 1,800 flights per day and serving 57 million passengers a year.  The major industries found in and around the DFW area include media advertising, livestock, banking, finance, insurance, and oil.
